If you are looking for a very memorable and unique adventure at a beautiful location, I highly recommend going on one of Bluewater Travel's Moorea Humpback Whale Trips in beautiful French Polynesia! Viewing underwater a mother and her calf together in the clear waters off Moorea, listening to the male humpbacks singing, and observing them breach was an absolutely magnificent experience not to be forgotten. The boat operator did an amazing job in locating and determining when it was best to enter the water for having great encounters and great photo opportunities. Four of the five days, we were able to get into the water with humpback whales and often multiple times. One day we even had close encounters with a pod of pilot whales, dolphin, oceanic white tips, black tip reef sharks and stingrays. The workshops held each evening provided opportunities to view each others images and learn new photo techniques and various ways for enhancing captured images through "lightroom" from a professional underwater photographer who on our trip was Mark Strickland. Don't forget to complete your experience by getting out to view the beauty of Moorea and to meet the friendly Polynesian people. Be sure to bring longer free-diving fins as propulsion will be so much easier and a "face-gator" as the sun really is intense!
