Turquoise Bay Dive & Beach Resort
Turquoise Bay Resort is a very comfortable place. Rooms are beautiful and well maintained. The dining buffet offers a variety of local dishes for each meal and many tasty choices. The bar is well stocked. There is a nice pool and also a lovely beach. The resort sits above the water which seems to keep the bugs to a minimum. A nice breeze kept us comfortable throughout our five day stay. Wait staff and hotel employees were attentive and friendly.
Subway Watersports is the onsite dive operation. They have several boats to accommodate different sized groups. Boats are usually full and not camera friendly. A lot of business seems to be large groups or cruise ship visitors, so we didn't really fit anywhere. We are experienced divers who enjoy the walls and deeper sites. We spent more time over sand in about 40 feet of water! We did see eels and some nice big canyon swim throughs. The wreck dive was interesting.
