Very nice resort with excellent food, super staff and really good diving. There's not much else on the island but if you're into diving, eating, partying with the locals and perhaps seeing some of the local villages, this is the place for you. It was pricey for me but not compared to any other dive resort in Fiji. It's on the other side of the world so of course it's going to be a little costly. I was sharing a room with another diver and the room we were in was suite size with two large beds. They weren't separated by a wall but the area was so large you couldn't see the other bed from your own. The room was a little dated but clean and well filled with well-kept furniture. Our room also had its own porch and wading pool if you wanted to stretch out in the water and relax. I think the resort had been there a while but was well-kept throughout, open and spacious. Each day you were given a selection of dishes to be served for the meals that day. The selection usually had a fish, meat and vegetarian option as well as desert options. The dive operation was well prepared each day and took care of your equipment after you first arrived. Shore diving was available right off the beach of the resort and options were available like night and shark dives. Nitrox was available for an up charge and dive masters went on each dive to show you the sights if you wanted to follow them or you could venture off on your own.

This was an excellent resort with an outstanding dive operation (Reef Divers Cayman Brac). Rooms were spacious, food was plentiful and tasty, staff was very willing to help with anything at anytime. We happened to hit the place in a slow week and I was glad we did. It was just our group of divers and occasionally a couple more popped in for dives. The week after ours they were planning on having 50+ divers. The dive operation was excellent, staffed with people who really knew what they were doing and were fun loving and gracious enough to make your dive time outstanding. Mick ran the operation, Barb the shop and Jeff, B.J., Steve and Garrett took us around the dive sites and showed us a great time. Charlie's Reef and the Tibbett's wreck were two of our favorite sites and we went back for a second helping of each. Sea life was plentiful at most sites and the dive masters who accompanied us spotted stuff to show us that we never would have seen.

Good place to dive and a decent place to stay and eat. The diving was excellent for the most part. They have their own reef right out the back of the property and it's pretty decent on it's own. Large tarpon patrol right under the cliff where their restaurant sits. It's fun to watch them while you eat and if you go on night dives out there you can be treated to a show of the tarpon snagging any hapless fish that you happen to spot for them with your dive light. I dove several solo dives, including a solo night dive, at the hotel reef with no problem. I'm not sure about solo dives off the boat trips they had. Never tried it. Plenty of tarpon, midnight parrotfish, groupers and French angelfish.

A really good experience with an outstanding crew, excellent sleeping quarters, really good diving and food that was great. The rooms have either two single beds or a larger queen bed for couples. There's a sink and mirror in each room and two bathrooms and two showers (fresh water) for the 12 divers. The operation was great. Good planning, happy, friendly and knowledgeable crew of four. They plan dive locations and give good briefings but you dive on your own. A dive master accompanies and will give the guided tour if you like but you're free to go where you please. I think we saw a shark on most every dive which really made the trip for me. The Red's Barron site had a good amount of sea life including many rays, lobster, crabs and the occasional shark.
