I can't say enough good things about this dive operation. Art & Nat run a great business. Their boat is a an ex Navy Seal assault boat. 'The Peaceful Warrior' is probably the fastest boat on the island and due to its design can go places other boats cannot Most dive sites are within 20 minutes or less if Nat opens up the throttles. Nat does most of the driving but is the go too man in the Caribbean if you want to do rebreather diving. Art acts as the Dive Master and she is absolutely amazing. Not only a great diver but one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met. After having dived with them for years she is as always excited about the next dive as she was her first. As experienced divers she lets us go for as long as we want with most dives lasting upwards of 60 minutes and always enough surface interval to make the second dive worth while.
We have been going to the Caymans every year for the past 12 years always at the end of March. Visibility is always 100ft+ with water temperature around 78 degrees. There is not a lot of large animals in the Caymans but it is a great place to see turtles and there are a few large groupers, otherwise lots of small reef fish and if you like macro, lots of really small fish. There are 4 wrecks that can be dived on, two are not much more than scrap metal now. However there is the Doc Polson which while old is still in good shape and of course the big one, the USS Kittiwake, sunk in about 4 years ago it is a 250ft submarine tender in about 60ft of water so a good second dive or an amazing first dive.

This was an excellent trip. The crew were mainly Sri Lankans with the Dive Masters being local Maldivians. The boat was amazing and we even sailed under sail power a few times. Beautiful accommodations and the food was a mix of western and Asian. Having lived in the Far East for many years the crew were happy to accept my request to have curry for breakfast:)
The dives were run from a separate boat with all of your equipment staying on the boat and maintained by the crew. There were 2-3 Dive Masters in the water at all times with 15 guests and the boat manager came on numerous occasions to act as the videographer.
The water was very clear with at least 100ft visibility and most dives were in the 60-80ft range with only one dive over 100ft. Sharks, Manta Rays, Whale Sharks, many varieties of Moray and Clown fish as well as the usual large schooling types of fish. Plus many wrecks.
Over all an excellent vacation.
