Solitude Lembeh Dive Resort

it is a beautiful resort with 10 well appointed "villas" , each with large bedroom area which has desk, TV, radio/CD, refrigerator, ample closet space. At the back of the room is a large bathroom area with indoor shower and behind that a private garden and outdoor shower. The main building has the office and a camera room with stations for each diver to set up gear on the first floor and the bar/lounge and dining area on the second floor.

The covered dive shop area has 3 sets of benches with racks to hang gear, 3 large camera rinse tanks and 2 wetsuit rinse tanks.

The diving is mostly "muck" as expected for Lembeh, but there are also areas with healthy hard corals. Visibility is so-so which doesn't matter when looking for the small critters you find there. And the guides are good at finding the odd sealife divers want to see.

With 3 boats with a max of 22 divers at the resort, it's never too crowded on a boat.

The service is 5 star. They carry cameras to the shop area, let you dunk them to check for leaks, then carry them to the boat and reverse the process after each dive. They rinse and hang wetsuits to dry between dives.

Food is a tasty mix of Western and Asian. If the, resort is full, some meals will be buffet style, otherwise you order off the menu.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

I've been there 3 times and plan to go back again which says a lot for the place.
