Dive Overview

All regions of eastern Indonesia are home to a huge selection of marine species. As part of the Coral Triangle, the area exhibits hundreds of reef-building coral species and even more species of reef and pelagic fish. Manta rays, eagle rays, Mobula rays, several shark species, turtles, bumphead parrotfish, napoleon wrasses, batfish and sweetlips are just a selection of the usual encounters. Those with a sharp eye can also find lots of scorpionfish, devilfish, seahorses, dragonets, cuttlefish, schools and many more. Indonesia is also a macro heaven with regular finds of ornate ghost pipefish, pygmy seahorses, frogfish, a wide range of nudibranchs, shrimps and crabs, blue-ringed octopus, mimic octopus, pipefish, leaf scorpionfish, coleman shrimps, zebra crabs, rhinopias, etc.

Food & Drinks Aboard Leyla

Leyla  Leyla

Leyla's kitchen staff does its best to provide guests with a unique menu that is the result of the fine blending of herbs and spices of Indonesia with locally grown and carefully picked ingredients. A typical menu for the day consists of tea or coffee with seasonal fruit. After the first activity, the staff is ready to serve a breakfast buffet with a choice of homemade bread, eggs, toast, pancakes, fruit salad, sausages, bacon and more. For lunch and dinner, guests can expect a variation of international and Indonesian meals, with a Mediterranean influence on the cooking style and use of ingredients. Mid-morning and afternoon snacks will be made available. The staff is also ready to fulfill any special dietary requests and to obtain alcoholic beverages not included in the rates. However, since government tax on imported alcoholic beverages is very high it is recommended that guests coming from abroad bring their own preferred alcoholic beverages.
