With over one thousand species of fish in the Red Sea, it's no wonder that it's considered one of the most diverse and vibrant marine environments in the world. The fact that 20 percent of the fish species found in the Red Sea are unique to this area highlights the importance of preserving and protecting this precious ecosystem. Here is an overview of the routes:

– North tour with Tiran Islands

– North tour with Brother Islands

– BDE = Brothers, Daedalus, Elphinstone – Marine park tour

– Daedalus, Rocky Island, Zabargad

– Daedalus Sataya

– Deep South St. Johns

– Deep South to Abu Fendera (10 days or 2 weeks)

daedalus elphinstone

  • Experience two weeks of extensive diving pleasure with super service and feel-good ambience on board the MY Red Sea One!
  • The special highlight of this tour is the Elba Reef, which lies deep in the south in the Egyptian-Sudanese border area. It has only recently become accessible and has never experienced mass tourism. Let’s dive in Egypt 40 years ago! No one knows how long this opportunity will last. Huge gorgonians, black corals, many pelagic fish, also silky sharks, grey reef sharks and even hammerheads can be spotted here. Particularly spectacular is the wreck of the Levanzo, which has been lying there for exactly 100 years at a depth of 18-65m. The aft holds are also easy to explore for recreational divers, the deeper part is reserved for technical divers.
  • *The trip to Elba Reef is subject to a minimum number of 15 guests. With fewer participants, we stay longer on the reefs of St. Johns, Daedalus, and also have the opportunity to look at such dive sites on our way, which are usually not visited on the one-week “standard tours” due to time constraints.
  • At Daedalus Reef we will have a very good chance of seeing the resident hammerhead sharks at this time of the year. Thresher sharks and manta rays are also often present.
  • St. Johns offers so many more fascinating spots besides the well-known top spots (Habili Ali, Dangerous Reef, St. John Caves, …). Sharks, turtles, napoleons, barracudas, nudibranchs – a great variety awaits our shining eyes here!
  • The Rocky and Zabargad islands further out in the open sea have a special, somewhat mystical aura both under and above water. Perhaps we will meet “our” school of dolphins here again.
  • The beautiful reefs of the Fury Shoals are also on our route, with coral gardens and caverns such as at Shaab Claudio, but also drop offs with possible shark sightings e.g. at Shaab Maksour. Sataya Reef (Dolphin Reef) is the largest of the Fury Shoals. It is home to a school of dolphins in the lagoon, which can be observed by snorkelling.
  • Also Elphinstone will not be missing on this tour, where we have as well good chances for big fish encounters in addition to the magnificently overgrown walls and plateaus. Longimani and tiger shark are typical “big ones” here. At the successful end of an unforgettable safari we can still look for dugongs and the giant turtles at Abu Dabab.

south with daedalus

  • This tour takes you to the world famous Daedalus Reef as well as to the most beautiful sites in the Fury Shoals dive area. Sharks, dolphins, turtles, napoleons, schools of barracudas, nudibranchs – discover the beautiful underwater world with us! The team on the Red Sea One will make this week an unforgettable vacation!
  • Far away from the coast, in the middle of the Red Sea, lies the Daedalus Reef. Here we have a very good chance to see the hammerhead sharks living there. On the lush southern plateau, thresher sharks and manta rays also pass by every now and then.
  • The beautiful reefs of Fury Shoals have a great variety of different dive sites to offer. Many coral gardens, cave and cavern systems, but also steep walls can be found here. At Shaab Maksur you also have a good chance to see sharks.
  • Sataya Reef (Dolphin Reef) is the largest and southernmost reef of Fury Shoals. The lagoon is home to a school of dolphins that can be seen by snorkeling. The reef also offers several great dive sites, you can make drift dives on the steep wall and also leisurely “rummage dives”, for example at the beautifully with soft corals overgrown small Ergs in the southeast.

deep south

  • This tour is specially planned for safari novices, avid macro photographers and also for non-diving / snorkeling guests. Relaxed dives or snorkeling trips with time and leisure are on the plan. Freedivers are also welcome. With the experienced freediving instructor Michael Bluethner a competent contact person and guide is available for advanced freedivers as well as for newcomers.
  • From Marsa Alam we head south towards Hamata and on to the beautiful reefs of Fury Shoals. Here there is a lot of variety between coral gardens, small caverns to steep walls and also easy to dive but beautifully covered wrecks.
  • A special highlight of the tour is the Sataya Reef (Dolphin Reef). There is a school of dolphins in the lagoon, which you can watch snorkeling. But the large reef offers much more – for example very lush with soft corals overgrown pinacles over and over full of life, a good chance of turtles, large Napoleon fish, and all kinds of fish schools.
  • Come with us on a tour of discovery and enjoyment!
