LOCATION

EKIN-1 and EKIN-2 operate out of the Fethiye Harbor. The Fethiye cruises are seven nights long and stop off at several coastal towns such as Gocek, Oludeniz, 12 Islands, Kas and Kekova, depending on weather conditions.

 

DIVE OVERVIEW

Diving in Turkey is most notable for its underwater wrecks, as the resting ground for over 200 World War I wrecks. In addition to the wrecks, the Fethiye area also has other interesting diving attractions such as caverns, amphora, and rocky reefs.

The EKIN-1 can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in its 6 double cabins, while EKIN-2 can accommodate up to 24 guests. Each cabin is comfortable with en-suite bathrooms, complimentary toiletries, beach and bath towels, storage space and air conditioning.

DIVE INFORMATION & DESTINATIONS

OVERVIEW of A Typical ITINERARY

  • Length of trip: 8 Days / 7 Nights
  • Departure: Fethiye / Marmaris Port
  • Return: Fethiye / Marmaris Port
  • Dives: Approximately 19 dives in total
  • Experience: Open Water - No minimum logged dives required.
  • A representative will greet you to ensure you make the transfer to Fethiye harbor. Once you reach the harbor, you will be able to check in. Cabins will be ready for you from 3 PM. However, if arriving early, you'll be able to safely store your luggage aboard the ship.
  • After settling in, join a local guide for a tour of Fethiye's old town to get acquainted with its history and learn about the rich heritage of Fethiye's past. You'll then be able to get settled in your cabin before welcome drinks.
  • Dinner will be on board for the first night. In the evening, the crew will serve a welcome dinner and your cruise manager will introduce you to the entire crew.
  • You'll spend the first night at the dock.
  • Day 1
  • BREAKFAST: 09.30 AM.
  • GENERAL BRIEFING: 11 AM.
  • DIVE: 1: 11.30 AM- Kizilada Light House (20-30m).
  • LUNCH: 12 PM.
  • DIVE 2: 4 PM – Kizilada Canyon (15-25m).
  • DINNER: 8 PM.
  • Overnight at dock/anchor, depending on availability.
  • Day 2
  • BREAKFAST: 9 AM.
  • DIVE 3: 11 AM – Amphoras Bay (14-27m) a historical site full of amphoras dating back to BC.300.
  • LUNCH: 1 PM.
  • DIVE 4: 3 PM -Amphoras Bay (14-27m).
  • NIGHT DIVE 5 : 7 PM – Aquarium Bay Lagoon (15-20m) well-known for its octopus population.
  • DINNER: 8.30 PM.
  • Overnight at dock/anchor, depending on availability.
  • Day 3 
  • 6 AM - The vessel will leisurely head towards the top of the Tuneller Peninsula where you'll get to enjoy the sunrise over the rocky mountains of the Fethiye coastline approximately one hour after arrival.
  • DIVE 6 : 7 AM – Three Tunnels (19-30m).
  • BREAKFAST: 9 AM.
  • DIVE 7: 11 AM – 3 Tunnels (19-30m) including cave dive.
  • LUNCH: 1 PM.
  • DIVE 8: 3 PM- Sariyarlar Wreck (17-35m).
  • DINNER: 8 PM.
  • Overnight at dock/anchor, depending on availability.
  • Day 4
  • DIVE 9: 7 AM – Dalyan Bay (If weather conditions permit) 25m.
  • BREAKFAST: 9 AM.
  • DIVE 10: 11 AM – Af Kule (20-40m), known as the best diving location in Fethiye.
  • LUNCH: 1 PM
  • 1.30 PM: Vessel will move to the harbour to safely anchor overnight, approximately 1 hour 30 minutes of travel.
  • DIVE 11 : 3 PM – Ak Kule Cave (15-25m).
  • DINNER: 8 PM
  • Overnight at dock/anchor, depending on availability.
  • Day 5
  • DIVE 12: 7 AM – Karides Bay (28 m) is an amazing reef with many different species of fish.
  • BREAKFAST:9 AM 
  • DIVE 13: 11 AM – Soguk Magara (20 m) – a well-preserved cave dive.
  • LUNCH: 1 PM
  • DIVE 14: 3 PM – Sariyarlar Canyon (22-35m).
  • 4.30 PM: The vessel will move to Balaban Island to safely anchor for the night.
  • DINNER: 8 PM
  • Overnight at dock/anchor, depending on availability. 
  • Day 6
  • BREAKFAST: 9 AM.
  • DIVE 15: 11 AM- Balaban Island (17-35m).
  • LUNCH: 1 PM
  • DIVE 16: 3 PM- Sahin area (15-28m) is a well-known dive site with underwater building ruins and amphoras.
  • After dive 16, the yacht will head towards Barracuda Bay for the night.
  • DIVE 17 (Night Dive): 7 PM - Baracuda reef (17–33m).
  • DINNER: 9 PM
  • Overnight at dock/anchor, depending on availability.
  • Day 7
  • BREAKFAST: 9 AM
  • DIVE 18: 11 AM – Iblis Burnu (22m) is well-known for various species of fish and octopus.
  • LUNCH: 1 PM
  • DIVE 19: 3 PM – Aqua Point (25 m), a historical big anchor and many amphoras.
  • After dive 19, you'll anchor overnight in front of Fethiye Port.
  • DINNER: 8 PM.
  • Day 8
  • Breakfast on board and check-out at 09:00. Complimentary  transfer to Dalaman airport. You must vacate your cabin by 9 a.m. (but note that if your departure transfer is later than this, you can leave your luggage on board until it’s time for your transfer).
  • Please note that this itinerary is an example only and is subject to change due to weather conditions and other external factors.  
  • The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip at around 3 pm. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive.
