Our journey in diving Bunaken Marine Park continues with our stay at Siladen Resort. Quinn and I made two dives yesterday and two more today, visiting some fantastic sites: Tanjung Kopi at Manado Toa Island and Cha Cha, Mandolin and Lekuan I at Bunaken Island. All of these sites offer great wide-angle but have some fun macro subjects for those who like the small stuff. There are also some great dives on Siladen, generally saved for the afternoons, so I’m not sure we’ll have time to sample those.

Here are some of the photo highlights. Tomorrow I’ll be switching to my “fish sniper” setup, combining my Aquatica A5DMk3 housing, macro port, 17-40 fixed at 40mm and either I-Torch Venom 38 video lights or strobes.

Diversity is key to a good underwater photo portfolio from a region, so let’s find out how this rig will work for photo and video on some wall drifts!
