To reach Blue Bay Lodges, fly to Hato International Airport (CUR) and take your preferred method of transportation (car rental/taxi) to the resort, only ten minutes by car. There is plenty of free parking onsite.

Curacao's underwater world offers a diverse and captivating experience for marine enthusiasts and underwater photographers. The abundance of colorful marine life, both large and small, makes it a fantastic destination for those seeking unique and vibrant underwater encounters.
The focus on macro photography allows for stunning close-up shots of intriguing species like Frogfish, Longlured, and Occelated. The variety of fish such as Pigmy Angelfish, Flameback Angel, Gobies, and Blennies, along with various crabs like Clinging, Cryptic, Neck, and Speck Clawed, provide endless opportunities for capturing the beauty of underwater life. The presence of Banded Coral, Scarlet, Red Night shrimps, and Red Banded Lobster adds another layer to the visual spectacle, creating a colorful and dynamic underwater environment. The ubiquity of Pederson and Spotted Cleaner Shrimps on every dive enhances the overall experience, while the Lettuce Sea Slug, with its three-color phases, adds a unique and easily recognizable touch to the underwater landscape.

Blue Bay Lodges boasts a PADI 5 star dive center that enhances the diving experience for guests. The dive center, conveniently situated on the beach, provides easy access to house reefs known as 'The Garden' and 'The Wall.' These reefs also offer diverse underwater landscapes and are accessible directly from the shore, catering to both beginners and experienced divers. Blue Bay is also an IDC center.
The underwater world near Blue Bay Lodges can also be described as having some of the most beautiful coral reefs globally, promising encounters with vibrant marine life. Beyond diving, guests may also enjoy additional watersports facilitated by the dive center, including snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding.
