This is the best weel-known route in the Maldives but at the same time it is the one that offers the best and most varied dives. We go on this route 11 months a year (except June) with weekly departures. Thanks to that, we know every detail, atoll, passage, thilas and where and when it is convenient to approach every dive zone.

It is a 7-night route including 6-dive days on board with embarking and disembarkation at the Male Airport (18 dives).

The itinerary goes by North Male, South Male, Felidhoo and Ari Atolls.

The aim is to find pelagic, grey sharks, white-tip sharks, black-tip sharks, and in some occasions, hammerheads and dolphins, eagle rays, schools of colorful fishes, morays, tuna fish, gild-head breams, groupers and turtles. Drifting dives in water passages and canals, thilas (submerged coral “seamounts”), cleaning stations where big mantas gather together to be deworn and the search of the whale shark (and if we are luckly will snorkel and even dive with the biggest fish). We will dive into a full-of-life wreck. Besides, there will be two of the most spectacular night dives in the world: one with mantas and the other with dozens of nurse sharks.

Desert islands and typical fishermen villages are also visited to discover and enjoy a bit more of the country and if the weather allos doing so we will even have BBQ lunch on a island.

Although if you are looking to relax, you can enjoy the solarium and the jacuzzi on board (Maldives Blue Force One), kayak, paddle SUP…

All that will make an excellent and unforgettable and amazing Great Dive Travel for divers and non-divers.

Itinerary
Central Atolls route
Day 1 (Saturday): ARRIVAL TO MALE – EMBARK Arrival at Male airport. One of our staff members will be waiting for you at Male Airport. You will then get onto our auxiliary boat Dhoni for the transfer to MALDIVES BLUE FORCE ONE or 3 for check-in, briefing of the liveaboard, diving, and plan itinerary. Dinner onboard.

Day 2 to 7 (Sunday to Friday): CENTRAL ATOLLS ROUTE
The route will go through North Male, South Male Atolls, Felidhoo and Ari atolls.Daily dive program for certified divers including day dives, night dives and possibility of snorkl and dive with Whale Sharks (total 18 dives per week). For non-divers we will offer differents activities such as snorkel, kayak, paddle SUP… If the weather and logistic allow, we will have a BBQ on a desert and will visit some populated island. On Friday afternoon we will anchorage next to Male. So, we will have option to make a guided visit to Male.

Day 8 (Saturday): MALE AIRPORT
Disembark at Male Airport at 7.00am. In the return flight leaves in the afternoon there is a day hotel option near the airport, and even free time to optionally visit Male until the time of the return flight.
