Truk Lagoon is a legendary wreck diving destination, home to over 60 WWII shipwrecks, many of which are encrusted in vibrant soft corals and teeming with marine life. While land-based resorts provide excellent access, diving Truk Lagoon from a liveaboard allows you to explore more of this vast underwater museum with greater ease and comfort.
Expect to see tanks, fighter planes, trucks, gas masks, torpedoes, and more submerged among colorful reef fish and corals. These time-frozen wrecks cater to both recreational divers and technical divers alike, with depths ranging from 40 ft (12 m) to over 200 ft (60 m). Whether you're here for history, photography, or marine life, Truk is one of the most captivating dive destinations in the world.
There are a limited number of liveaboards available in Truk Lagoon, so booking early is highly recommended.

Truk Lagoon is a year-round diving destination, with its best visibility generally between December and April, the drier season. Rain may occur from April to December, but it typically doesn't interfere with diving inside the protected lagoon. Water temperatures remain warm and comfortable year-round, and there is very little current, making it ideal for all levels of divers. We’ve been planning trips to Truk for years—let us help you choose the best season and setup for your perfect dive adventure!
