Himmafushi Scuba Adventure

Himmafushi Island, part of Kaafu Atoll, is just 17 km north of Malé and one of the closest local islands to the airport. Getting there is quick and easy, with a 20-minute speedboat ride available via Naseeb Express, which runs three times daily at approximately US$20 per way. Private transfers can also be arranged upon request.

Diving in the Maldives is renowned worldwide for its crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and incredible marine biodiversity. Spanning over 1,000 islands across 26 atolls, the Maldives offers an extraordinary variety of dive experiences, from dramatic channels (kandus) with strong currents and big pelagics to sheltered coral gardens teeming with reef life. Himmafushi Scuba Adventure is located near the top dive sites in North Male Atoll. Manta rays can be seen at Bodu Hithi Thila from December to May and at Lankan Manta Point near Himmafushi from June until November.
