The Dive Hub

The Dive Hub is located inside Sierra Resort in Dauin, Negros Oriental, about 15 km from the town center. 

The closest airport is Dumaguete Sibulan Airport (DGT). Once you land, you can either grab one of the taxis waiting outside the airport or arrange a shuttle/minibus transfer through the resort (surcharge applies). The drive to the dive center takes around 30 minutes.

Diving in Dauin, Dumaguete is best known for its relaxed muck diving and easy access to some of the Philippines' richest small marine life. The sandy slopes and black volcanic seabed are home to spectacular critters such as frogfish, nudibranchs, seahorses, cuttlefish, and blue-ringed octopus, making it a popular spot for macro photographers. Apo Island, a short boat ride away, has stunning coral gardens with healthy reefs and regular sightings of sea turtles. With generally calm conditions, good visibility, and light currents, it’s an easy and rewarding destination for divers of all skill levels, and it’s often highlighted among the world’s best scuba diving destinations for its incredible macro biodiversity and reef life.

Guests can stay at Sierra Resort, where The Dive Hub is located, making it a convenient and comfortable base for a diving holiday in Dauin. The resort offers a relaxed setting with a mix of well-appointed rooms and essential amenities such as air conditioning, en suite or shared bathrooms, hot water showers, and WiFi, and more.

The Dive Hub serves local cuisine, with meals prepared and served individually for a more personalized dining experience. Vegetarian meals can be arranged with advance notice. Guests are also welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages.

Jeep Dives 

No boat needed. The Dive Hub loads up the gear and drives you along Dauin's shoreline to the best beach entry sites. From the coral-rich reefs of Masaplod to their own House Reef, each site offers something different: colorful reef fish, curious turtles, and plenty of macro critters to hunt for. Quick, easy, and lots of time in the water.

Apo Island

A short boat ride from Dauin, Apo Island is one of the Philippines' oldest marine sanctuaries. The reefs are healthy and thriving, with coral walls, swirling schools of jackfish, and green and hawksbill turtles that seem completely unbothered by divers. It's the kind of dive that reminds you what a coral reef is supposed to look like.
