Explore Truk Lagoon's famed "Ghost Fleet" from this 132 footair-conditioned live-aboard vessel with its spacious rooms, and extensive technical and photo dive facilities.The Odyssey boasts nine large, luxurious staterooms all fully carpeted with private air conditioning controls, windows or large portholes, and private toilet, shower and sink all in every stateroom. Seven of the staterooms are equipped to easily accommodate two single travelers in twin beds or a couple in a spacious king-size bed. Also available are two staterooms for single travelers only they have all the features of the double staterooms and easily accommodate the single traveler in a twin bed. All staterooms have access to the onboard entertainment system with a 32" monitor. Staterooms are cleaned daily.

While growing up in Los Angeles he fell in love with the ocean and pursued underwater photography in the local Channel Islands. After receiving degrees in Aquatic and Fisheries Science and General Biology, as well as a minor in Arctic Studies, Nirupam worked as a fisheries observer on vessels in the Bering Sea and North Pacific. Since then, Nirupam has been a full time underwater photographer and photo gear head.

2018 Truk Lagoon Trip Report

The Truk Lagoon photo workshop, held from February 25 to March 4, 2018, offered divers the opportunity to explore WWII wrecks in depths ranging from the surface to beyond 200 feet. Highlights included diving on the Kiyosumi Maru, Yamagiri Maru, I-169 Sub, and Shinkoku Maru, with rich history, artifacts, and excellent underwater photography opportunities. The trip was well-organized by the Odyssey staff and featured spacious accommodations, calm conditions, and personal photo seminars.

Truk Lagoon Trip Report Feb 2015

The Truk Lagoon photo workshop in February 2015, led by Joanna O'Shea, featured 15 divers exploring the world's best wreck diving sites. The Truk Siren liveaboard provided access to WWII wrecks, with detailed briefings and multiple dives per site. Daily photo seminars and image reviews helped improve participants' underwater photography skills amidst varying visibility and light conditions.
