Dive Information
The primary dive site of Pro Dive Mexico at Allegro Playacar are Tortugas, Barracuda, Mama Via, which means shipwrecks, canyons and slopes. As previously mentioned, they also offer Cenotes dives as well as excursions and safaris to other nearby locations.

Mama Via Wreck
Former shrimp boat initially sunk in 1995 for divers. Coral growth has proceeded rapidly on this artificial reef.

Barracuda
Northwest of Tortuga Reef, second dive after it. Can be pictured as a hand with five finger-like outcroppings.

Tortugas
One of the most popular and exciting deep dive sites in this area. Relatively flat reef with gradual slope from 15 to 40m (50-130ft), covered with corals and big barrel sponges.

- Currents: Medium to strong, South to north
- Skills: Intermediate.
- Life: Astounding number of hawksbill turtles and big fish from barracuda to jacks, cubera snappers, stingrays, green and spotted morays, bull sharks depending on season.
