Golden Palms Beach Resort is located in Guinjata Bay, about 30km south of Inhambane on the Mozambique coast. Getting there takes a bit of planning, but the journey is all part of the experience.

By Air: The nearest airport is Inhambane Airport (INH), about an hour from the resort. Most travelers fly into Maputo first before taking a domestic flight to Inhambane. The resort offers private car transfers from Inhambane Airport at an additional charge.

By Road: From South Africa, take the N4 through Komatipoort, cross into Mozambique, and follow the EN1 north toward Inhambane. Turn at the Guinjane signs before Inhambane town and continue about 24km on the dirt road to Golden Palms Beach Resort. A 4x4 or vehicle with diff lock is highly recommended.

Diving at Golden Palms Beach Resort provides access to rich coral reefs and diverse marine life, with opportunities to see manta rays, dolphins, sharks, whale sharks, turtles, and a variety of tropical fish all year. From June to November, humpback whales pass through the area, making for an unforgettable encounter above and below the surface. Guinjata Bay is an excellent destination for underwater experiences along Mozambique's coast, with dive sites ideal for both beginners and experienced divers.

The resort is fully self-catering, all units come with a fully equipped kitchen and a private braai, so you can cook your own meals, bring your own drinks, and enjoy dinner at your own pace.

Golden Palms Beach Resort works with two nearby dive centres, Guinjata Dive Centre and Jay's Pro Dive Centre, both just a 5-minute walk (about 450 meters) from the resort.
