Dive Overview

GweGwe Beach Lodge sits in one of the best front-row seats for the world-famous Sardine Run, one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on the planet. Each year between June and July, billions of sardines migrate up the Wild Coast, drawing dolphins, sharks, whales, and gannets into a feeding frenzy just off the shore. With an onsite dive centre and direct access to these incredible waters, guests can get right into the action with experienced local guides.
