The Eco friendly Hotel Uyah Amed & Spa Resort is in Amed, east Bali, well known for natural beauty and fantastic dive sites and offers PADI & SSI Dive courses.
Hotel Uyah is located approx. 100 km away from the Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in South Bali or about 3 hours by car. Airport transfers can be arranged from or to the hotel at an extra charge.
Bali offers some of the best shore diving in the world, particularly in the northeast areas of Tulamben and Amed. Amed is 30 minutes from Tulamben. Along the road from Tulamben to Selang, there are numerous dive sites with muck, macro, walls and healthy corals.

Hotel Uyah Amed & Spa Resort is located right on the beach in Amed, East Bali and offers 25 spacious double bungalows and 2 family villas. The bungalows are arranged in a V-shape and are all equipped with private bathrooms and sea view terraces
Guests may choose from 6 not electrically air conditioned Poolside Bungalows (five with double beds and one twin), 19 electrically air conditioned Ocean View Bungalows (15 with double beds and 4 twin), or two electrically air conditioned Family Villas.
The 6 poolside bungalows are placed around our smaller pool behind the lobby. Each bungalow has a size of 30 sqm including bathroom plus a terrace of about 9 sqm. Five bungalows are equipped with king size double beds and one has two single beds. These poolside bungalows are located in a shady area and are not equipped with electrical air-conditioners.
Despite the fact that actually all the bungalows have sea view the Ocean view bungalows are closer to the beach and are all equipped with electrical air-conditioners. Each bungalow has a size of 30 sqm including bathroom plus a terrace of about 9 sqm. 15 ocean view bungalows are equipped with double beds and 4 are twin with two single beds each. It is possible to add one extra bed to the bungalows to accommodate one more person. They can also provide a baby cot if you wish to keep your baby in a safe place to sleep.
The family villas have a size of 60 sqm including one bathroom and a large terrace of about 12 sqm. The villas are equipped with one separate bedroom with a king size double bed and one living room with two single beds up to two extra beds can be added on request.
Experience fine western and Asian cuisine in Caf Garam, which means Salt Caf. There's a relaxed feel here, with pool tables and Balinese food plus the lyrical and haunting melodies of live genjek (traditional Balinese with percussion instruments) music at 8pm on Wednesday and Saturday. Garam means 'salt' and the cafe honours the local salt-making industry. Try the salada ayam, an addictive mix of cabbage, grilled chicken, shallots and tiny peppers.
Hotel Uyah Amed & Spa Resort, Bali cooperates with Amed Dive Center and offers Snorkelling, Scuba Diving, Dive trips, PADI and SSI dive courses and fantastic dive sites.
We go diving & snorkeling every day if weather and sea conditions allow. We usually start at about 8:30 in the morning from Amed Dive Center with our dive boat and approach 2 dive/snorkeling sites in the morning and return to Amed Dive Center around noon. We go again at around 14:00 hrs (2 p.m.) for a third dive/snorkeling. We approach Tulamben and Amed dive & snorkeling sites and visit the Liberty shipwreck in Tulamben frequently . We have many excellent dive/snorkel sites in our area! We have some very good spots for under water photography. Just come to Amed Dive Center and you can join!
