Le Coconut Lodge is located on Rangiroa, in French Polynesia's Tuamotu Archipelago. Most guests arrive at Tahiti's Faa'a International Airport (PPT) and then take a short domestic flight to Rangiroa Airport (RGI), which is the closest airport to the lodge.

Once you land, you don't need to worry about arranging your own ride. Le Coconut Lodge offers free airport transfers by shuttle or minibus, and the trip to the lodge takes about 10 minutes.

Rangiroa is one of the world's top diving destinations, known for its warm, clear lagoon and two legendary ocean passes. Tiputa Pass, the atoll's most popular dive site, attracts barracudas, jackfish, and surgeonfish on its incoming current, as well as seasonal schools of hammerhead sharks and dolphins all year, while Avatoru Pass on the other side of the island provides a similar rush of sharks and rays. Divers frequently see gray reef sharks, manta rays, whitetip and blacktip reef sharks, and lemon sharks in water that is a comfortable  26-29°C with visibility of up to 40 meters.

Le Coconut Lodge doesn't have its own dive center on-site, but Topdive French Polynesia operates nearby and can arrange dives directly. Contact us for help coordinating your dive trip alongside your stay.

Le Coconut Lodge serves homemade meals made with fresh local ingredients such as Rangiroa honey, coconuts, and locally caught fish. Breakfast is included and served lagoonside every morning, with fresh bread, fruit, homemade yogurt, and jam, while dinner is optional and served nightly by the water. Lunch is not served on-site, but nearby restaurants are a short bike ride away. For drinks, guest can try a locally made ti-punch or wine form French Polynesia's only vineyard, right there on Rangiroa, and any dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice.
