Mafia Kivulini Lodge offers seven rooms across three types to suit different travelers. The Double Deluxe Room is a cozy option with a queen bed, private shower, air conditioning, and a garden-facing veranda next to the pool. The Triple Room can accommodate up to three guests and features a king and a medium bed, as well as the hotel's largest wardrobe space. Larger groups can book the Family House, a two-part interconnected space with two queen beds and extra beds that can comfortably accommodate up to eight people.

Mafia Kivulini lodge is located in Utende, on Mafia Island, Tanzania. The closest airport is Mafia Airport (MFA), which is approximately 20 minutes away from the hotel. Airport transfers are available by private car for an additional fee. The nearest town is Kilindoni, so you can easily access local shops and services during your stay.

The resort is located in Mafia Island's Marine Park, near Chole Bay, which has one of the region's richest reef systems. Diving is not conducted directly from the hotel, but guests are only a short drive away from established dive centers that offer daily boat trips by traditional dhow to sheltered, shallow reef sites. Divers can expect to see a variety of hard and soft corals, as well as close encounters with seahorses, ghost pipefish, octopuses, and rays at nearby shore sites. They may also see larger marine life such as reef sharks, whale sharks, and humpback whales in Chole Bay's channels and passes.

Mafia Kivulini Hotel serves a mix of local and international cuisine, with meals brought to the table via plated service. Guests can select either half-board or full-board meal plans, and dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice. Outside alcohol is not permitted at the hotel.
