Melina Biederman

Melina discovered her love for diving in a cold, dark lake in Germany, a first dive that taught her patience, precision, and a profound appreciation for the underwater world. Since then, she has lived and worked in remote locations including Timor-Leste and is drawn to exploring hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path dive destinations. 

 As a Divemaster and Travel Advisor in Bluewater Travel’s Group Trips department, Melina helps guests find the perfect group trip while also crafting fully customized dive experiences from resorts to liveaboards, tailored to individual interests and experience levels. Her favorite dive memory is coming face to face with a blue whale, though she equally enjoys slowing down to admire the tiny details of marine life, especially nudibranchs. Passionate about marine science, Melina loves connecting with guests, discovering what excites them about diving, and creating trips that feel personal and unforgettable. When she is not underwater, she spends time volunteering at a local animal shelter and is always excited to help plan your next adventure.
