Scuba Diving In Oman

Oman is perfect for beginners as it offers simple and calm diving. You can enjoy its warm waters as well as the abundant marine and coral life. The waters are home to twenty-two species of whales and dolphins. They also have some great dive sites where you can see many species of colorful tropical fish and hard and soft coral.

Expect to see a wide variety of soft and hard corals, nudibranchs and reef fish in this area. You'll also have the chance to see numerous whale and dolphin species, turtles, rays and sharks, including whitetip reef sharks, green and hawksbill turtles and even spinner and bottlenose dolphins!

Diving Conditions

  • Water Temperature: Water temperatures range from 19-28C/66-82F.
  • Visibility: 15-30 m/50-100 feet
  • Depth Range: Typical maximum depths range from 20-28m / 66-92 feet
