The Ariyal operates out of Malé, Maldives, with embarkation and disembarkation at the capital’s port. Guests can fly into Velana International Airport (MLE), the nearest airport to the vessel. Complimentary airport transfers are provided, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience.

Deep South Male to Gan
This Maldives diving trip offers an exciting schedule of three to four dives per day over 7 days. The route includes a variety of dive sites, from the shallow coral plateaus of Rasfari Corner to the thrilling drift dives at Kandooma Thila and encounters with manta rays at Lankan Beyru. Guests will also explore wrecks, such as the Kudhimaa Wreck, and may have the opportunity to see iconic species like whale sharks at Maamigili Beyru. The schedule includes plenty of downtime for meals, rest, and socializing with fellow divers. Day 8 will conclude the journey with a transfer to the airport, following a final morning breakfast and check-out.
Deep South Gan to Koodoo / Koodoo Gan
This 7-day diving itinerary offers an incredible journey through the Maldives, with three to four dives per day, providing guests with the opportunity to explore the vibrant marine life, coral reefs, and exciting underwater topography of the region. Starting with a welcome aboard the vessel, guests will enjoy daily dive briefings, followed by dives that range from shallow reefs to deeper pinnacles, encountering species such as manta rays, whale sharks, grey reef sharks, and a variety of colorful fish. The schedule includes ample time for meals, rest, and socializing, with each day ending with delicious dinners and relaxation. The trip concludes on Day 8 with check-out and transfers to the airport. Set off on an exciting diving journey from Deep South Gan to Male, discovering the Maldives’ extraordinary underwater world. This route takes you through picturesque reefs, abundant marine life, and some of the best dive locations, offering a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.
Sample Itinerary
Day 1 through 7: Diving Schedule
During the course of the trip, guests will enjoy three to four dives per day, typically following the schedule below. Please note that the exact timing may vary depending on tank refilling, cruising hours, and weather conditions.
On Day 1, guests board the vessel around 1:00 pm for introductions, briefings, equipment preparation, and setup, followed by a 5+-hour crossing from South Male to North Ari Atoll, where the check dive will take place. Day 8: Departure 08:00 - 09:00 – Check-out and transfer to the airport.
The last dive will take place on the penultimate day of the trip at 11:00 am, and divers are strongly recommended to wait 24 hours before flying after the final dive for safety reasons.
