Cat Ppalu Liveaboard Reviews
Maria
We traveled as a couple, shared a double-room, it was really nice and comfortable. We shared two showers and two bathrooms with the rest of the group (10 of us in total). The food was delicious and you could see the chef really loved her job. The crew were great, 4 of them in total. The captain gave us choices on dive itineraries based on our preferences (if we wanted to sail more to swim with the pigs, or dive more. We chose more dives unanimously!) and weather conditions. The catamaran was mostly sailing rather than using engines so it was quite smooth travels all week long. The diving was super nice and easy, the sites were briefed by the crew upon arrival and we were able to go on our own or with another buddy pair if we wanted to. The boat has a support dinghy in case you surfaced far from the catamaran and they had to go get you. They also had SUP that we could use anytime we wanted. Loved my week on board, told my family we need to book it as a whole family charter!!

A really good experience with an outstanding crew, excellent sleeping quarters, really good diving and food that was great. The rooms have either two single beds or a larger queen bed for couples. There's a sink and mirror in each room and two bathrooms and two showers (fresh water) for the 12 divers. The operation was great. Good planning, happy, friendly and knowledgeable crew of four. They plan dive locations and give good briefings but you dive on your own. A dive master accompanies and will give the guided tour if you like but you're free to go where you please. I think we saw a shark on most every dive which really made the trip for me. The Red's Barron site had a good amount of sea life including many rays, lobster, crabs and the occasional shark.
