Location

Join the Socorro Islands diving trips, departing from and return to San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico. Embark on Sea of Cortez trips, from La Paz, Mexico. Transfers are provided from/to the airport for both trips.

Dive Overview

See hammerheads, schooling sardines, and sea lions in the Sea of Cortez from August to November. Encounter mantas, whale sharks, and humpback whales in the Socorro Islands from November to May.

Experience Level

Sea of Cortez is more beginner-friendly and suitable for Open Water divers. For Socorro Islands, you have to be an Advanced Open Water Diver with a minimum of 50 logged dives.

Accommodation Overview

The Valentinaoffers three cabin categories designed for comfort and flexibility. The Deluxe Twin Cabin features twin single beds for two guests, with spacious wide bunks and a private restroom and shower; these cabins are same-gender shared unless otherwise requested. The Deluxe Double Plus includes a double bed and an additional single bed (non-bunk), along with air conditioning and a private restroom and shower, making it ideal for couples or small groups. The Valentina Double cabin offers a double bed with air conditioning and a private bathroom and shower, providing a more intimate option for guests seeking extra privacy.

Food & Drinks

They serve international food and Mexican food on the liveaboard, M/V Valentina. Japanese food is also sometimes available. You can drink authentic cocktails, such as a popular local beer, and similar drinks by ordering from the bartender. Less common on a liveaboard, they also offer freshly squeezed fruit juice (free.)
