  • The M/Y White Pearl operates out of the Port of Sorong (SOQ) Guests arriving at the airport on the check-in day will be picked up by a Pearl Fleet representative; while guests who have opted to stay in a hotel or are coming from the city, can arrange to be picked up by a representative. Additional charges may apply.

The M/Y White Pearl can comfortably accommodate up to 20 guests. Its 10 guests rooms are divided into 1 Suite, 2 Master Rooms, and 7 Deluxe Rooms. The Suite and Master Rooms are located on the Main Deck and are outfitted with a Master Bed, while the Deluxe Rooms are located on the Upper Deck and come with Double Beds. All cabins come complete with an ensuite bathroom with a hot shower. In addition to the basic amenities, all cabins are also outfitted with HD Television sets with Satellite TV and Google Cast.

raja ampat DIVE OVERVIEW

Known as “The Last Paradise” on Earth, Raja Ampat is known as the most diversified diving destination in terms of fish species and coral species. With more than 1,700 species and more than 500 species of corals in the area, and is a part of the establishment of 7 ecologically-connected Marine Protected Areas. A liveaboard in Raja Ampat is the best way to explore this world-renowned destination. Divers can expect to see a vast amount of marine life, from the smallest of critters and colorful fishes among the corals, or to giant oceanic manta rays. This trip will leave divers truly amazed by a unique place that has become a global hotspot for avid scuba divers.


DIVE areas

  • Central Raja Ampat: Located between Gam and Batanta, the Dampier Strait is famous for its incredible diversity. Cape Kri holds the world record of the highest number of species of fish encountered during a single dive. Oceanic Mantas, Reef Sharks, Schooling Fish or Small Critters can be found here. Cruises and diving will occur between Airborek, Kri and Yangeffo.
  • Famous Dive Sites: Blue Magic, Cape Kri, Manta Ridge, Yenbuba Jetty, Citrus Ridge, Mangrove Ridge
  • Piaynemo: This UNESCO Geosite houses one of the most incredible coral gardens of Indonesia. Melissa’s Garden is an underwater journey. Fish and coral live in harmony in this colorful haven. Other dive sites such as My Reef will also amaze the divers with the diversity of fish and colors. Sweetlips, Barracudas, Reef Sharks, and Wobbegong Sharks are among the marine life divers can encounter. Macro lovers may also spot Pygmy Seahorses or some Mushroom Pipefish.
  • Famous Dive Sites: My Reef, Melissa’s Garden, Keruo
  • Misool
  • Balbulob/Farondi: Situated on the East side of Misool, this area is made up of several islands. Each island is worth exploring. Farondi has stunning corals and an incredible diversity in terms of diving styles and marine life. Cavern, Drift, Wall, or Shallow dive will be experienced by divers here. This area has been a very attractive location for divers over a long period since discovery.
  • Famous Dive Sites: Goa Farondi, Three Rocks, Love Potion
  • Wayilbatan/Fiabacet/Boo: The yacht will spend a few days in this area. Preserved by the Misool Foundation as a ‘no-fishing’ area, this beautiful diving zone has been healthily blooming in its glory. The impressive quantity of fish is a paradise for divers. On top of that, hard and sea fans complete the heavenly backdrop. Magic Mountain has welcomed extraordinary footage for Blue Planet. Mantas and  Mobula Rays are often encountered in this dive site. 
  • Famous Dive Sites: Magic Mountain, Boo Windows, Nudi Rock, 4 Kings, Barracuda
  • Daram: Candy Store, a dive site in this area, leaves divers feeling like ‘kids entering a candy store’ once they descend into this dive site. This dive site has a unique topography, topped off with the bright colors formed by the mix of its healthy corals and fish life. Divers will dive Black Rock, another unique and special dive site. Small rocks make up an impressive hard coral garden where Mobula Rays are sometimes encountered in the area. Barracudas, Humphead Parrotfish, Schooling Spade Fish, and Wobbegong Sharks are some of the residents on this site. Macro lovers can spend time spotting the Pygmy Seahorses.
  • Other areas like Pele may be explored based on the schedule and number of days. Kaleidoscopes holds one of the most incredible Sea Fan Gardens where some Manta Rays roam for cleaning.
  • North Raja Ampat 
  • Kawe: This unique area has some of the most interesting dive sites in Raja Ampat. Black Rock and its Black Coral Garden would leave divers in awe. Divers are in for a treat – an opportunity to discover marine life at spectrums never experienced before. On the other side of the reef, Manta Rays may also be present. Currents permitting, Canggo and its swim-thru will delight pelagic lovers. Goliath Groupers may also be spotted here.
  • Wayag/Urani: The Wayag and Urani area is also another highlight of Raja Ampat. Pelagic Rock or Cathedral are dive sites where impressive schools of Sweetlips, Barracudas, and Jack Fish swim around the islands. Swells may be present and diving conditions will have to be considered before water entry.
  • Alyui Bay: A unique place and breathtaking landscape to witness. Frogfish, Wobbegong Sharks, Pipefish, Seahorses, Octopus, Cuttlefish, are residents that can be found during a very special night dive.

Diving Conditions

Any time of the year, Indonesia offers good diving. Visibility may vary from season to season but 10 to 30 meters (35 to 100 ft.) can be expected at most dive sites.

Water temperatures can vary greatly from a low of 22°C to a high of 29°C. A 3-5mm wetsuit with a hood is recommended year-round. All diving is from tenders. Guests are also suggested to bring reef hooks for use at some dive spots.
