Crusoe's Retreat is located along Fiji's Coral Coast, roughly between Navua and Sigatoka. The closest airport is Nadi International Airport (NAN), which is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes away by private car.

By Air: Most guests fly into Nadi International Airport, which handles both international and domestic routes. The resort can arrange airport transfers (surcharge applies) via private car. It's worth booking this in advance so you're not sorting it out on arrival.

By Road: From Nadi, follow the Queens Highway southeast along the Coral Coast – it's a scenic drive with ocean views along the way. The resort is situated near the towns of Navua and Sigatoka, so it's easy to find once you're on the right road.

Fiji's Coral Coast is one of the country's most diverse diving destinations, and Crusoe's Retreat puts you right in the middle of it. The area is known for its healthy reef systems, strong fish diversity, and reliable sightings of pelagic species that not every destination can offer. Whether you're after colorful macro critters or something a bit more dramatic like whale sharks or humpback whales, the waters here deliver.

The resort serves a mix of local Fijian and international cuisine. Meals are usually plated, with occasional buffet-style service. 

Dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice. Meal plan options range from room-only to all-inclusive packages, including snacks, drinks, and full meals. Guests are not allowed to bring their own alcohol.

  

Diving at Crusoe’s Retreat is arranged through Coral Coast Divers, an SSI 5-Star Eco Dive Center based in Pacific Harbour. All dives are guided with a maximum of four divers per guide, and Open Water certification is required.

One of the main highlights is the famous shark dive at Beqa Lagoon, around 35 minutes away by boat. You can read more about the experience in this Beqa Lagoon shark dive guide. Often called “The Colosseum,” the dive takes place at around 18–20 meters, where divers remain in position as multiple shark species pass by. Expect to see bull sharks and tiger sharks, along with lemon sharks, nurse sharks, and several types of reef sharks. It’s a well-managed experience and one of the most unique dives in Fiji.

Aside from sharks, divers may also see dolphins, macro life, and seasonal visitors like whale sharks and humpback whales. With a variety of dive sites available, it’s easy to balance more thrilling dives with slower, scenic ones.

Diving is arranged through Coral Coast Divers, an SSI 5-Star Eco Dive Center based in Pacific Harbour. They manage all dive operations, including equipment, guiding, and transfers to the dive sites. All dives are guided with a maximum of four divers per guide, offering a more personal and relaxed experience in the water.

The dive center offers a mix of local reef dives, shark dives in Beqa Lagoon, and training courses for different skill levels. Equipment rental is available, and the team is experienced in working with both beginners and advanced divers. They are also involved in conservation efforts to help protect the marine environment in the area.
