How To Get There

International guests can fly into the Manila International Airport (MNL.) From there, it is approximately 120 - 180 minutes by car to the Solitude Acacia Resort. The Solitude Acacia Resort can arrange a car or van transfer to and from the airport for guests for an additional cost.

Solitude Acacia Resort Food & Drinks

Open from 7 AM until 12 midnight, Oliver's Restaurant serves guests a variety of local and international cuisine. The botanical-themed restaurant is located on the second level. Surrounded by 180 of glass, guests can enjoy the breezy atmosphere as they look over the sea and pool.

The Dive Bar is open from 4 PM to 9 PM and serves guests a variety of different beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, perfect to relax and unwind with. The Dive Bar is also located above the dive center, making it a great spot for catching up with other divers while enjoying the beautiful sunset.

Diving in Anilao

Anilao is famous for its huge biodiversity (probably one of the highest in the world). So far, more than 800 different kinds of nudibranches have been identified in the area. 50 excellent dive sites for macro & muck but also great wide-angle, even a wreck and a cave (like the whole Visayas in one place) and also wild and colorful coral reefs. This is a special destination for nudibranch lovers.

Marine Life includes pigmy sea-horses, nudibranchs, anthias, gobies, frogfishes, rare shrimps and crabs, 5 types of octopuses including blue ring, flamboyant cuttlefish, jacks, turtles, triggerfishes, cardinals, fusiliers, damsels, giant clams, clown fishes, groupers, mandarin fishes, moray eels including blue ribbon, barracudas, idols, parrotfish, batfish, snakes, scorpionfish, stonefish, lionfish, rhinopias, ghost pipefish, leaf, squids, cuttlefish, pufferfish, soft & hard corals, gorgonias, crinoids, sweetlipsetc.

Dive Center Information

Solitude Acacia Resort Dive Center Overview

The Solitude Acacia Resort's dive center is fully equipped to cater to all levels of divers, from beginners on their first dive to the experienced on their 100th. Open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily, the Dive Center is also a great place to hone one's diving skills with its 12-person capacity classroom and a swimming pool perfect for training. Both the staff and the equipment here are state of the art, offering only the best for the Solitude Acacia's guests.

The Solitude Acacia Resort also comes with a state-of-the-art camera room with 28 individual camera stations and an adjoining camera lounge with comfortable furniture, a work counter, and large. It a photographers and videographer paradise.
