Dive Information
Great Astrolabe reef DIVE OVERVIEW
The Great Astrolabe Reef offers some of the best diving in Fiji. Surrounding the Kadavu, the fourth largest island, this 65-km reef is one of the largest barrier reefs in the world. Due to its many deep-water channels, the reef is well-known as a breeding ground for many large marlin species and other marine life such as sharks, tuna, giant trevally, mahi-mahi, and snapper. Due to its distance from dense populations, the reef is a great location for experiencing the amazing marine life and coral diversity. Buliya, located between Kadavu Island and Ono Island, is famous for its manta ray snorkeling.
