Fuvahmulah is easier to reach than you might think.

Fly into Malé (MLE) – This is your starting point. Most international flights connect through Dubai, Doha, or Istanbul. Once you land, head to the domestic terminal (it's a short walk) and hop on a Maldivian Airlines flight to Fuvahmulah (FVM). The flight takes about 80–90 minutes and runs daily.

Already in the southern Maldives? You can also reach Fuvahmulah by speedboat ferry from Addu (Gan) or Huvadhoo Atoll via RTL Ferry.

Diving in Fuvahmulah is unlike anywhere else in the Maldives.The island rises straight from the deep ocean floor, dropping you immediately into open-ocean action and some of the most reliable big-animal encounters on the planet — year-round tiger sharks, thresher sharks, hammerheads, oceanic mantas, and whale sharks. Guests can stay at the AIG Grand Hotel Fuvahmulah, a modern and comfortable hotel just 10 minutes from the airport. The hotel has 20 rooms with ocean or island views depending on your room type. All rooms are air-conditioned with hot water showers and a balcony or terrace to unwind after a day of diving. Breakfast is included daily, with lunch and dinner served à la carte at the hotel restaurant.

Beyond the tigers, Fuvahmulah delivers an impressive lineup of marine life depending on the season — thresher sharks, hammerheads, oceanic manta rays, whale sharks, silvertip sharks, and schools of barracuda, trevally, and tuna. Visibility regularly exceeds 20–30 metres, and water temperatures stay warm at 27–30°C year-round.
