Diving With Cortez Club

Cortez Club'sunsurpassed service is geared toward a hassle-free and relaxing dive experience. You will find all your equipment waiting for you on the boat in the morning, which will be moored at our private jetty.

During the day, all your equipment will be set up for you, unless you wish to do it yourself. Leaving you only to slip your equipment on and dive. At the end of the day, just stroll up to the Sunset Bar to order your favorite drink, while your equipment is unloaded, rinsed in fresh water and stored for you, ready for the next day of spectacular diving.

Snorkeling

The waters of La Paz and the Sea Of Cortez offer world class snorkelling due to its marine diversity and in particular the Island of Espiritu Santo with its numerous white sandy beaches and rocky parameters it lends itself to exploring and snorkelling.

There are sites closer to La Paz such as Balandra Bay and San Rafaelito where we offer daily excursions.

However there is nothing that comes close to a trip to the Island of Espiritu Santo where you have a sight seeing extravaganza and a most memorable snorkelling experience.

Snorkeling With Whale Sharks

The Whale shark is the largest fish on the planet and there are few Whale species larger in size.

Thought to reach up to a possible 20 meters and 34 tons it seems difficult to believe that Whale Sharks feed on microscopic plankton and small fish.

The combination of its immense size and characteristic checkerboard pattern makes the Whale Shark almost unmistakable and completely unforgettable.

Snorkeling with the Whale Sharks has got to be one of the most uplifting experiences in the world. In season The Cortez Club will take you over to where you can swim with as many as 12 Whale Sharks in one area.

Whale Watching

Whale Watching is a year-round activity around the Baja Peninsula.

Baja California is fast becoming the premier location to watch whales in the world. More than 20 species of whales are encountered around Baja (most year-round), making this area an important center for whale observation.

In addition, whale watching is becoming more common in the Sea of Cortez. The magnificent Blue Whales, the largest living creatures on earth, come to the Sea of Cortez each year, as do Humpback Whales, Sperm Whales, Finback Whales, Minke Whales, Orcas, schools of dolphin and Pilot whales, and many other creatures of sea, land and air.
