How To Get There

Epic Diving offers dive packages in various locations including Bimini, Bootle Bay and Cat Island. To get there you can first fly to the Nassau International Airport (NAS) in the Bahamas to then take another flight to your dive destination. You can also take direct flights from the U.S. to these local airports. See more information in the 'Package Overview' section.

What Are The Dives Like With Epic Diving?

All Epic Diving's shark dives are done in clear, warm water, with depths ranging from 20 feet up to 50 60 feet on some of the deeper reefs. Expect good visibility with water temperatures ranging from 76 degrees F to 82 degrees F. Package Options - Single and multi-day dive trips as well as full packages available (lunch, snacks, beverages, tanks, weights & belts included). You can also book weeklong dive packages which include 7 days 6 nights accommodation, 5 full days of shark diving, lunch, snacks, beverages, tanks, weights & belts included. Great Hammerhead Shark Diving Overview

• Season: January - March (Winter)
• Water Temp: 76-82 F (24-27 C)
• Certification Needed: Open Water. Advanced for night dives or other specialty dives.
• Accommodation Types: You will be staying at either the Bimini Big Game Club or the Sea Crest Hotel on North Bimini Island. Contact us for more details.
• Location: Bimini, Bahamas. You can fly to NAS - Nassau International Airport, New Providence then to BIM - Bimini, Bahamas. Transfers are not provided from/to the airport. Guests staying on North Bimini will have to take a short ferry ride to the hotel.
• Marine Life: Hammerheads, Caribbean Reef Sharks, Nurse Sharks, Bull Sharks

Oceanic Whitetip Shark Diving Overview

• Season: April - May
• Water Temp: 76-82 F (24-27 C) with amazing calm and crystal clear water.
• Certification Needed: Open Water. Advanced for night dives or other specialty dives.
• Accommodation: Greenwood Beach Resort: sixteen-room beach resort located on 8 miles of pink sand Atlantic Ocean Beach. Contact us for more information.
• Location: Cat Island, Bahamas. Fly to NAS - Nassau International Airport then TBI - New Bight Airport on Cat Island, or directly to Cat Island. Transfers provided. Please contact us for more details.
• What to Expect: A true pelagic expedition with reliable encounters with the Oceanic Whitetips in the open blue and plenty of opportunities to see other species.

Tiger Shark Diving Expeditions Overview

• Season: October - June
• Location: Bootle Bay, West End-Grand Bahama Island.
• Water Temp: 76-82 F (24-27 C) with excellent visibility of up to 100 feet!
• Certification Needed: Open Water. Advanced for night dives or other specialty dives.
• Accommodation:30-unit gated community with Two Bedroom Condo Style Accommodations with Single Occupancy and Double Occupancy options.

There is limited rental gear so please let us know as soon as possible so we can reserve it for you. Most items are $20 per piece per day. PLEASE NOTE that there are no wetsuits available for rent.
