Marine Life 

The waters surrounding Fuvahmulah are renowned for their extraordinary marine biodiversity, making it a dream destination for divers. Often referred to as the "Maldives' Galápagos," the area offers encounters with an impressive array of pelagic species.

Fuvahmulah is one of the few places in the world where divers can reliably see tiger sharks year-round. In addition, the nutrient-rich waters attract oceanic manta rays, thresher sharks, whale sharks, and even hammerheads, depending on the season. Schools of tuna, barracuda, and trevally are common, while vibrant coral gardens and reef ecosystems host turtles, moray eels, and countless species of reef fish.
