Liquid Shark Divers is located on Fuvahmulah, Maldives. The dive center offers airport pickup and helps arrange transit for guests on dive packages.

By Air: The nearest airport is Fuvahmulah Airport (FVM). There are no direct international flights to Fuvahmulah. All guests fly internationally into Male's Velana International Airport (MLE) before connecting with a domestic flight to Fuvahmulah.

Fuvahmulah is the only island in the open Indian Ocean, so its dive sites are unique to the Maldives. The reef drops straight into deep water just offshore, attracting strong currents and an unusual number of large pelagic animals. Tiger Harbor, a shallow spot near the harbor mouth where tiger sharks can be seen every day in clear, calm water, is at the heart of it all. Deeper walls contain thresher shark cleaning stations, as well as regular sightings of oceanic mantas, hammerheads, whale sharks, and schooling trevally. There are 20 sites in total, ranging from easy reef dives to advanced drift and wall dives, so there's something for divers of all skill levels.

Equator Retreat Fuvahmulah

The most affordable option, with twelve rooms featuring private en-suite bathrooms and a shared lounge for cooking, laundry, and relaxation. It is conveniently located next to the dive center, making it an excellent choice for divers who would prefer to spend their money on tanks rather than on accommodations. Continental breakfast is included.

Ocean Pearl Hotel

The most polished stay on the list, with 26 rooms, ocean-view balconies, and a rooftop infinity pool for unwinding after a dive. Its in-house restaurant serves breakfast from 6 AM, which counts for a lot on early boat mornings. With a conference room and an eight-guest suite, it's a good fit for photo workshops, families, or larger groups who want to stay together.

AIG Grand

Set on the island's quieter north side, AIG Grand is designed for golden hour, with a rooftop infinity pool overlooking the ocean and a multi-cuisine restaurant on the ground floor or roof. Junior suites and family rooms provide extra space while remaining only a minute away from the beach, making them ideal for couples or anyone looking for peace and quiet.

Hikers Villa Fuvahmulah

A small beachfront guesthouse offering sea-view rooms, a King Suite with a spa bath, and a private beach area. There is a small wellness center with yoga classes on occasion, a non-alcoholic bar, and a kitchen that serves Maldivian, Thai, and Middle Eastern cuisine. It's the top choice for divers looking for a personalized experience and a soak after their final tank of the day.

Fuvahmulah's dive sites are unlike any other on the planet. This remote atoll sits alone in the open Indian Ocean, where steep drop-offs bring nutrient-rich currents up from the depths, attracting pelagic life year-round. The star is Merika Falhagando, also known as Tiger Point, a shallow 5-10m plateau where tiger sharks patrol daily in clear, calm water. Further out, sites like Farikede and Bilhi Feyshi have thresher shark cleaning stations, as well as regular encounters with mantas, hammerheads, whale sharks, and schooling trevally. There are 20 sites in total, ranging from easy reef dives to advanced drift and wall dives.
