How To Get There

Fly into Sorong (SOQ Domine Edward Osok Airport), take a taxi to the harbor (about 20 minutes by car), and then take a speedboat to Wai Island (approximately 2.5 hours). Wai Resort can arrange transfers from Sorong to Wai Island at an additional cost. The nearest town is Waisai, about 1 hour away by boat, while Sorong is about 2.5 hours away by boat.

Dive Overview

Diving in Raja Ampat is world-renowned for having some of the most impressive marine biodiversity in the Coral Triangle. Incredible underwater vistas include pristine coral reefs teeming with fish, schools of fish in the blue water, and potential pelagics. Water temperatures are consistent year-round at about 89F (31C).
