There is no surprise that Indonesia hosts some of the world's best and most biodiverse dives. This archipelagic country is the largest of its kind, boasting 13,466 islands which lie between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. 

There are many great destinations in Indonesia, including but not limited to Raja Ampat, Triton Bay, Cenderawasih Bay, Derawan, Ambon and the Banda Sea, and Wakatobi. Unique islands such as Komodo diving are also best explored via liveaboard. New scuba diving hotspots keep popping up in the past few years in Indonesia, and there's no sign of slowing down.
