Palau Aggressor II Liveaboard Reviews

I got to spend 7 days on the Aggressor II in Palau for my birthday. The staff was amazing! The chef was very accommodating to a member of the group being allergic to shellfish and another member is a vegetarian, we all really enjoyed the food so much! the crew kept our rooms super clean, we had our beds made when we came back from our morning dive. We were diving 5 dives a day in 80+ degree in 50'+ vis it was perfect.Wrecks and walls everywhere covered with life. Blue Corner was amazing with all the sharks swimming back and forth and Napoleon Wrasse that great you as you swim up to the site, it was amazing! I've never seen such inter actions between the Wrasse and the crew that has been going there every week for years!Outside of diving we did land tours and saw and learned so much about the culture and people there. It was a great visit

A liveaboard really is the best way to see Palau. And, boy, these guys are professional! They work SO HARD, every day, so that people have clean marine heads, excellent diving, great food, and amazing service.I rented a camera while I was there and really loved diving with it. Lenses were swapped for me, memory card was given to me every night after dives, and helpful tips were plentiful. Accommodations were very nice, bathroom was not disgusting like most marine heads I'm familiar with. Robes were essential - I just put on that robe between dives and saved on laundry! LOLFood was good - I liked breakfast most, and lunch was always large portions enough for me and my ravenous appetite. The tended bar was awesome - although I preferred to do all the dives, so I can safely say I was one of the lightest drinkers on the live aboard.I loved how the gear was set up on the skiff. It stays attached to your tank, and they just refill the tank after each dive - it never leaves and you only have to set up your gear ONCE, just how you like it!!! Backrolls were fun, I always wound up bumping into my fellow dive buddy - but that made for bonding and cute laughs shared - definitely a positive not a negative. Dive guides were very knowledgeable and great at finding the awesome critters! Hector was my favorite - quiet, hard worker that REALLY knew his way around all the dive sites underwater. All the crew displayed great professionalism, and they were always open for a chat or questions ("what's that weird long stringy animal on that night dive?!" "What nudibranch is this?" "May I have another glass of Hefe?")I'd love to go again - I can't wait to go back and feel the current rippin' in my face again!
