Dives in Rangiroa are action-packed and exhilarating, with sightings of dolphins, marlin, grey and hammerhead sharks, manta rays The 2 Topdive Rangiroa dive centers are perfectly located, very close to Tiputa pass for easy access to the most beautiful dives Rangiroa has to offer. One located in the heart of the Kia Ora Resort & Spa and the other a few meters away in Avatoru.

Topdive Fakarava North Overview

Fakarava has been classified as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve due to the rich diversity of its ecosystem. The undersea flora and fauna promise a richness in the myriad species you are likely to encounter. The dive center is located on the northern side of the village of Rotoava. The main meeting point for divers before and after dives.

Topdive Fakarava South Overview

In the southern part of the atoll, a third dive center is located on the Motu Penu, very near the Pension Motu Aito Paradise and the southern pass.

Inter-island Gold Pass

With their 6, 10 or 20-dive inter-island Gold pass, you can dive on 6 islands: Tahiti, Moorea, Rangiroa, Fakarava, and Tikehau. The package is only for certified divers and can be used by 2 divers in any of the Topdive centers.

Free Nitrox Diving In French Polynesia

Scuba diving with enriched nitrox air allows for no more decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives. In all Topdive centers, Nitrox dives are offered at no extra charge for all Nitrox certified divers. For non-certified divers, they offer Nitrox PADI certifications, SSI, FFESSM/CMAS, ANMP/Cedip, and PADI.

Blue Honeymoon Dive

This private dive will be organized just for you and your loved one, accompanied by your own diving instructor and an instructor that will capture your most memorable undersea moments on camera. This excursion is available at Topdive dive centers TAHITI & MOOREA. Excursion includes: 2 introductory dives with a private instructor, shell leis, a refreshing after-dive fruit drink and your romantic dive recorded on USB driver!

Discover Shark Diving

The Polynesian waters play host to many different species of sharks. With our experienced divemasters at TOPDIVE, we can assure the safest possible conditions in order for you to observe and marvel at the beauty of this mysterious creature.

Topdive Tahiti, Moorea, Rangiroa, and Fakarava dive centers offer an SSI specialty course called, SSI Shark Ecology. Its purpose is to allow any certified diver the opportunity to identify, recognize and describe shark species in relaxed and secure conditions.

The standard dive rule-of-thumb for observation of these species is usually to be slightly negatively buoyant as to adhere close to the seafloor, and not to attract too much attention. Main species in French Polynesia: The Whitetip lagoon shark, The Grey reef shark, Blacktip reef shark, Lemon shark. During the course of your dives, you may encounter other shark species like the Silvertip shark, the Silky shark, the oceanic whitetip shark, the Tiger shark, and even the Whale shark.

Dolphins And Whales Watching Around Tahiti

You can come to approach and watch dolphins playing near the passes of Tahiti throughout the year (except for whales season) and encounter whales around Tahiti every year, from August to October.

Diving Courses

• Scuba Diver: Your first diving certification in just 2 days! This quick and easy certification will then allow you to dive up to 12 meters deep with a guide. It is valid for life and worldwide. It includes 3 dives, a handbook, tables, a dive logbook & a certificate.
• Open Water Diver: The Open Water Diver course will give you the knowledge and skills necessary for safe diving in the 18-meter depth area. Training takes place on 3 or 4 days depending on your availability. It includes 6 dives, handbook, tables, dive logbook, certificate.
• Introductory dive: Introductory dive takes place in the afternoon on a secure and reassuring dive site. You will be supervised by a professional instructor and a cameraman can accompany you, so you can have the video of your dive. It includes 1 dive.
• Advanced Open Water Diver: This diving training allows you to progress quickly and in a playful way. 2 imposed themed dives: deep (between 18 to 30 meters) and orientation. The themes for 3 other dives will be at your convenience. It includes 4 SSI Specialities, Digital kit, Digital certification.
