Pure provides guests a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the themed menus and interactive cuisine prepared by the Chef. A variety of local and international cuisine is enjoyed at the restaurant. Get a chance to live a culinary experience featuring Polynesian cuisine cooked in the ""ahimaa,"" a traditional oven in the ground. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, while dinner is served from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

Guests can also quench their thirst with the Vue and Beach Bars. The Vue Bar is open from 5 PM to 7 PM and offers the largest selection of liquors in French Polynesia. The extensive range of cocktails and spirits ensures that there is something that everyone can enjoy. The Beach Bar is conveniently located on the edge of the lagoon, perfect for guests to enjoy a drink or snack without leaving the beach and its white sand.

The K, Sofitel Kia Ora's new fine dining restaurant, is open for dinner every Thursday and Friday. On the other nights, K is available for private dining. Five-course and seven-course menus are available.

Moorea Dive Overview

Moorea is well known as one of the best destinations to swim with whales. Encounters with humpback whales are something that the visitors will never forget. Not only whales, but it is also a great destination for shark diving where various shark species make appearances during dives. Turtle sightings are almost always guaranteed. Compared to the other islands in French Polynesia, you can see much more turtles around Moorea. With great underwater experiences, white sand beaches, and green-covered mountains, it's truly an amazing dive destination.

Dive Center Overview

The on-site dive center, Ia Ora Diving, is located within the Sofitel Kia Ora Resort and is the only diving center on the east coast of Moorea. The experienced team welcomes both beginner and certified divers, with guided dives and training courses scheduled daily. 

Captain Quentin takes guests to some of Moorea’s most beautiful dive sites, while experienced instructors provide dives tailored to each diver’s level. Diving options include drift dives in the ocean or lagoon, as well as dives in the passes, offering opportunities to explore Moorea’s largely untouched marine life. Introductory dives, certification courses, and guided dives are available for divers of different experience levels.
