How To Get There
To reach Cozy Roots Fuvahmulah, guests can fly into Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. From there, they can avail of the transfers provided by the resort for a small surcharge. It takes about an hour and 25 minutes to get to the resort from the hotel.

Fuvahmulah's secret is its geography: the island drops straight into deep open ocean with no shallow lagoon, attracting in cold, nutrient-rich currents that keep marine life diverse and consistent all year. Tiger sharks are the main attraction at Tiger Shark Point, and encounters here are as consistent as they come anyplace in the world. These are resident, naturally curious sharks, with no baiting or tricks. Beyond tigers, divers regularly spot thresher sharks, hammerhead sharks , oceanic whitetip sharks, manta rays, and the rare whale shark, as well as schools of tuna, jacks, and barracudas. Visibility is from 20 to 40 meters, the water temperature is a comfortable 25-29°C, and diving locations are only a few minutes from shore. All dives are fully guided and follow strict ethical guidelines for responsible shark interactions.
