Dive Point Zanzibar is a PADI 5 STAR RESORT with a friendly and professional dive center that offers all PADI Courses (recreational and TecRec). The knowledgeable and safety-conscious PADI trained instructors and divemasters are located inside Sunshine Marine Lodge in Zanzibar.
Dive Point Zanzibar is located inside Sunshine Marine Lodge, which is situated on the eastern side of Zanzibar island, in the village of Matemwe. Zanzibar is an island off the coast of Tanzania in East Africa. The lodge and dive center are about an hour's drive from Zanzibar International Airport.
Divers exploring the tropical Indian Ocean waters of Zanzibar, Tanzania, and Kenya are in for a treat with an array of marine life to discover. In the inshore reef sites, divers can spot a myriad of reef fish, including ribbon eels, fire dartfish, octopus, moray eels, and giant groupers. Larger species like barracuda, yellowfin tuna, and trevally also patrol the inner reef walls, while reef sharks and dolphins are a year-round sight. The Kisite Marine Reserve is a hotspot for manta ray sightings.

The Sunshine Marine Lodge offers a variety of accommodation options to suit every need, from couples seeking a romantic getaway to families on a tropical vacation. The lodge features 17 spacious and tastefully decorated rooms and suites, all with private balconies or verandas that provide breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean.
Each room is equipped with modern amenities, including air conditioning, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, mini-fridges, and en-suite bathrooms with hot showers. The lodge also offers 24-hour room service and laundry service for guests convenience.

Sunshine Marine Lodge has a PADI certified dive center with experienced instructors who offer a range of courses, from beginner to professional level. The center provides all the necessary equipment, including a compressor and tanks, and takes guests to explore the vibrant marine life of the Indian Ocean.
With over 30 dive sites in the area, the center offers a variety of diving experiences, including reef dives, wall dives, and night dives. Divers can encounter an array of tropical species, including reef fish, ribbon eels, fire dartfish, octopus, moray eels, groupers, barracudas, yellowfin tuna, trevally, reef sharks, dolphins, manta rays, and even whale sharks and humpback whales during the right season.
