Dive Overview

The Red Sea is known for its prolific marine life, hosting over a thousand fish species, 20% of which exist exclusively in this body of water. The tropical waters are also home to 200 species of hard and soft corals, 44 species of shark and various WWII wrecks over 150 years old. Home to some of the best dive sites in the world, Egypt is also an ideal place for beginner divers to get accustomed to the underwater world.

Types of Cabins, Amenities and Photos

 M/Y Blue adventure Cabin Details

The Blue Adventurer offers divers the choice among Single Cabins, Classic Twin Cabins, and Classic Double Cabin. There are two single cabins aboard, located on the mid-deck and fully equipped with air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom.

Located on the lower deck are the eight Classic Twin Cabins, all equipped with two beddings, an ensuite bathroom, and airconditioning. Refurbished in 2016, these comfortable cabins provide a bright space from which to enjoy your Red Sea liveaboard journey.

The Classic Double Cabins are situated at the upper deck. Also equipped with an ensuite bathroom and airconditioning, these cabins are perfect for accommodating two guests in a double bed. In-cabin entertainment and television are also available in all rooms.

Itinerary Overview

The M/Y Blue Adventurer liveaboard offers something for every diver. With their campaign, "Project Shark" they hope to highlight the global issues facing sharks, with the Red Sea as their focus. "Project Shark" offers an eye-opening experience all while enjoying some of the most spectacular reefs the Red Sea has to offer such as the world-famous marine parks at Brothers and Daedalus. This thrilling itinerary of spectacular drop-offs is perfect for fivers keen to glimpse some big animals at these remote off-shore reefs. 

Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Starts with a visit to dive sites local to the departure port of Hurghada. Here, there will be three dives (a check dive, practice zodiac dive and a night dive) before heading out to the marine parks.

Day 2-5: Normally, a day each is allocated at the Big Brother, Small Brother, Daedalus and Elphinstone area. There will be an opportunity to make three dives per day; however, night dives are not permitted in the marine parks.

Day 6: After a packed week of diving in drop-offs, you can enjoy two relaxed morning dives local to Hurghada before you cruise back into the harbor in the early afternoon. You can take advantage of the evening onshore to purchase souvenirs and enjoy the famous hospitality of Eygpt before the journey home the following day.
