The resort is located on Ambergris Caye, a short boat ride north of San Pedro Town. Transfers from San Pedro Town are provided at a rate of $40 per group round trip.

Recently opened in October of 2017, the new Mama Caribe Restaurant brings authentic Belizean food to a whole new level at Captain Morgans Retreat! From sit-down meals to sociable poolside snacks or Captain Morgans famous barbecue grilled lunch, the new extensive menu consists of: locally sourced seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes, fresh homemade bread, as well as favorite Belizean and American dishes.

A wide variety of exotic cocktails are available at both the poolside bar and indoor restaurant bar. In addition, the resort offers an array of non-alcoholic beverages including freshly-squeezed local juices. When it comes to delicious food and drinks, this Belize resort certainly has it all!
