From The Belize International Airport (BZE), guests can take a 17 minute domestic flight (surcharge) to the San Pedro Johnny Grief Municipal Airport (SPR). Upon arrival Guest can walk to SunBreeze Hotel SunBreeze Hotel is located on the east side of the San Pedro Airport, just a few steps away. Luggage assistance is provided.

Dive Overview

The dive center offers professional and safe dive experiences in San Pedro. Dive trips leave right from the hotels 150 ft dock. Local Reef Dive sites are 10 to 20 minutes away as the hotel as the island is very close to the second largest barrier reef in the World. Blue Hole and Turneffe day trips are also available.

Dive Information

Diving & Snorkeling Ambergris Caye

Less than a mile off the coast of Ambergris Caye is the second largest barrier reef in the world, creating a unique underwater setting for arguably the best scuba diving and snorkeling in the Caribbean.

Around the island, there are countless dive sites, where you can find spectacular three-dimensional coral formations, canyons, tunnels, swim-throughs, and caverns, all at depths up to 200 feet and crystal clear visibility up to 150 feet.

And of course, marine life is abundant. Schools of Nassau Grouper and Angel Fish, Lobster, Stone Crab, Morray Eels and Rays are just some of the wildlife you are sure to find under the sea around Ambergris Caye. Sightings of Reef Shark and Nurse Shark as well as the Whale Shark and the Loggerhead Turtle are common. Along Ambergris Caye, nurse sharks are probably more common than anywhere in Belize.

Onsite Dive Center, Ambergris Divers, is a 5* PADI Resort, mid-size operation with hands on management providing a dedicated and true personalised service. They offer scuba diving tours and snorkel tours; offering a range of dive experiences within the immediate Barrier Reef and marine reserve areas. A range of entry level Dive Certification courses and recreational progressive courses are also offered within their Scuba Instruction services
