Dangriga is on the southern coast of Belize, only 36 miles due south of Belize City and the Belize International Airport. You can take a short 20-minute flight down the coast or a scenic 2-hour drive from Belize City. The resort can arrange Dangriga airport transfers.
Home to the second largest barrier reef in the world, Belize offers good Caribbean diving combined with an excellent tropical rain forest, exotic birds, and historical Mayan ruins. Its also one of the few places in the world where you can scuba dive (not just snorkel) with whale sharks.

The dive operator, Seemore Adventures, does dive tours at the Southern Barrier Reef around South Water Caye Marine Reserve and Glovers Reef Atoll Marine Reserve. Both locations are a part of The Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System, inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. At South Water Caye they have 18 different dive sites used on a regular basis and at Glovers 11 different dive sites.
The diving in Belize is varied enough to please everyone from novices to seasoned divers. Youll find an abundance of coral gardens, sponges, reef sharks, rays, and small reef fish.
