The Mahanai Restaurant is the comfortable main restaurant that offers breakfast and dinner. Serving a delightful combination of French and Polynesian cuisine, the restaurant uses only the freshest ingredients. On Saturday nights, a Manava dinner buffet is held featuring Tahitian traditional dances and music. On Wednesdays, a Tereva barbecue night is held.

The Miti Bar & Terrasse is located by the pool, offering guests an exotic mood setting as they enjoy their favorite cocktail or snack on some light dishes and Polynesian specialties.

Dive Overview

Manava Moore Resort has an on-site Diving Center, the Moorea Blue Diving Center. Moorea offers a good variety of dive locations to see developed corals, tropical fish, turtles, sharks, and whales. Some dive spots are within 10 to 15 minutes by boat from the hotel.

initiation and dives

Dives are organized as follows: in general, there are two successive dives on the same morning, these are held at two different sites. The first is a departure from the dock at 8 AM, return around noon. These dives are called two-tank dives as you will be using two tanks, one for each dive. Sometimes, depending on demand, the departure may be scheduled at 10 AM in addition to the 8 AM departure, for a single dive. You can also choose for an afternoon tank (at 2 PM), sunset tank (only on Wednesdays and Saturdays), as well as a night tank (during the full moon). We also propose initiation for honeymooners, with a professional photo/video report included.

training

Training can only begin after introductory dive in the lagoon in the magnificent "Aquarium" site (not included in the training price). We feature SSI (Scuba Diver, Open Water, Referral) training programs as well as ANMP, CMAS, FFESSM programs from Level 1 to Level 4.

daily observations

Moorea Blue Diving, in collaboration with ORP (Observatoire des Requins de Polynesie), the shark observatory of French Polynesia, collects information and participates in the census of Moorea lemon sharks.
