Turks & Caicos is a premier destination for divers, celebrated for its rich marine biodiversity and stunning underwater landscapes. The archipelago's waters teem with a variety of sea life, including sea turtles, orange elephant ear sponges, gray reef sharks, angelfish, and eagle rays. Divers can also encounter horse-eye jacks, lobster, snapper, garden eels, and nurse sharks. The region’s macro life is equally impressive, and during winter, the chance to see humpback whales and hammerhead sharks adds to the allure. Dolphins, manta rays, and additional eagle rays further enhance the diving experience.

Providenciales, often known as "Provo," is the most developed and populous island, serving as a central hub for tourism. Its dive sites benefit from protected areas, ensuring abundant marine life and vibrant ecosystems. Salt Cay, a more remote destination, offers a unique diving experience with its wrecks, caverns, and wall dives. This island is renowned for its pristine coral reefs and is a prime spot for witnessing migrating humpback whales during the winter months.

Grand Turk, the capital of the territory, blends historical charm with exceptional diving opportunities. The Columbus Landfall Marine National Park, located here, is the largest marine protected area in Turks & Caicos. This park features healthy reefs and dramatic drop-offs, providing divers with a diverse range of underwater experiences. West Caicos, known for its impressive wall dives, offers a 6-mile (9 km) long wall close to shore. The area is ideal for divers of all levels, including beginners, who can expect to see sharks, turtles, snappers, rays, and a variety of sponges.

French Cay, situated near Providenciales, is celebrated for its nutrient-rich reefs, which support a thriving marine ecosystem. The abundance of sunlight contributes to the growth of vibrant coral reefs and attracts larger marine life, including manta and eagle rays. From January to March, divers may have the chance to spot humpback whales, and lucky encounters with hammerhead sharks are possible.
