Big Blue, Khao Lak Thailand
BIG BLUE HALLELUJAH LIVEABOARD REVIEW
Me and my boyfriend try to dive as much as we can. We have been working in the dive industry since 4 years back. Still we only want to dive on our holidays. This time we signed on with Big Blue on the MV Hallelujah. Four days and three nights. 14 dives. We got picked up outside our Hotel in the afternoon. When we arrived to the boat, everything was ready for us. We got welcome drinks and a big briefing about the boat, accommodation, etc. Our room was in front of the boat. With double bed, private shower and WC. All the rooms had their own shower and WC. As a woman, I like that little detail. Before we went to bed we got a really nice dinner buffer. There were two different fish choices and two different meat choices. And a lot of nice vegetables.
The first dive briefing every morning was at 7am. Then 3 hours surface intervall between all dives.
The divesites they chosen just got better and better. We finished of the trip with the legendary Richelieu Rock, which blew our minds. The boat crew on the boat were so proffesionals. The boat boys were so helpful and attentiv. The cooks and the food were too good. My wetsuit got a little bit smaller after only 4 days.
The dive guides were extremely knowledgeable aobut the marine life. On one dive we saw both Whale sharks and Manta. The marinelife was so healthy ( almost everywhere). Big nice seafans with beautiful colors.
I recommend this kind of diving to everyone, from beginners to more advanced. You could also do courses on board.
My boyfriend has about 3500 dves, I have about 2000 dives and we absolute loved it. We already booked for the next season.
