The Galapagos is known as one of the best scuba diving destinations in the world for large and rare marine life. You can find schooling hammerhead sharks, giant manta rays, the ultra-rare marine iguanas, manta rays, turtles and many more. Galapagos' best sites can be found at the ultra-remote Wolf and Darwin Islands, which can only be accessed with a liveaboard.
There aren't so many liveaboards in Galapagos, so booking early is a must. Most liveaboards depart from either San Cristobal (SCY) or Baltra (GPS) so make sure you check which embarkation port you are departing from.

Galapagos liveaboard diving
DIving season
The best diving season for the Galapagos highly depends on what you'd like to see! It is generally divided into two main diving seasons: Whale Shark Season (June-November) and Manta Season (December-May) when it's slightly warmer. Feel free to ask us about our experiences during the different seasons. We've been booking and running successful trips to the Galapagos throughout the years and can give you recommendations based on your preferences!
